Piper was first introduced to the nation at a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio in August, 2008, when Presidential candidate John McCain announced that Sarah Palin would be his running mate. Piper also appeared with her mother in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Republican National Convention in September.

Piper Palin got to meet Ashton Kutcher and Taylor Swift at the TIME 100 gala in New York City on May 4, 2010. She attended with her mom and dad after Sarah Palin was named one of TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People.
